Bridal Stress Relievers

The big day is looming ahead, and you are stressed to no end. From booking venues and photographers, to picking colors and bridesmaid’s dresses, your days are booked solid. Here are some easy and relaxing tips that will help you unwind and feel more at ease.

Take a Time Out - Yes, we know time out’s were usually reserved for bad behavior in grade school, but think of this as a time to breathe. Take a weekend or two off throughout the planning and do something for you. Activities like reading a book, taking a walk, scrapbooking, and listening to some great music are all great ways to take your mind away.

Exercise the Day Away - If you’re an active bride, high-impact exercise may just be the stress reliever for you. Exercise has a positive effect on stress, makes you feel better, and of course gets you looking your best. Kickboxing, karate, jogging, or riding a bike are all great ways to get the energy increasing and the stress decreasing.

Give Yourself a Little Something - Indulge in your favorite ice cream or chocolates every once in a while, but make sure not to go overboard! Other ways to indulge in something decadent would be to get a pedicure, massage, or to buy yourself something nice…like those shoes you’ve been eyeing at the mall!

Take a Nap - So simple, yet so effective. A nap is the perfect refresher and stress reliever when it comes to an overwhelming schedule. A lack of sleep can leave you with a bad attitude and a lethargic mind. Don’t have time in your weekly schedule to take that long awaited cat nap? Fit it into your weekend! If you set aside some time on the weekend for a little snooze, you won’t regret it.
